Housing options

Havelock House (HH)

Havelock House is located centrally on Northbourne avenue in Turner. The property takes up an entire city block and is split into 20 units ranging from 3 to 8 bedrooms that house 101 single persons. Our tenant profile includes students, single men and single women.

There are a number of community organisations based on site as well as access to activities such as exercise groups, information sessions and community BBQ’s.

Some of the benefits of living at Havelock House include a 2 minute walk to civic, free wi-fi, free mattress and up to two weeks rent free on move in.

Gunghalin Singles Accommodation (GSA)

GSA is small apartment complex of 20 units located in the middle of Gunghalin. It is only a 2 minute walk from the local shops, community centres and amenities. Each apartment is 1 bedroom self-contained unit with its own balcony/small courtyard, laundry, and spilt system air-conditioning. Residents all have access to a common area for activities, car parking space and storage area. There is NBN Fibre to the premises installed.


Disability Housing (DH)

Havelock Housing manages a number of properties across the ACT that provide a specialised response to persons living with a disability. These range from 1-2 bedroom apartments/townhouses for single persons, through to larger specially modified properties for group living.

Havelock work closely in partnership with NDIS support providers who provide the on-site day to day supports whilst Havelock assist with specialist tenancy assistance and items such as managing utility accounts, gardening and disability modifications.

Havelock Housing are an approved NDIS provider of both tenancy/housing support as well as the provision of Specialist Disability Accommodation (SDA). For more information about SDA click here.

Havelock have a number of properties scattered across the suburbs of Canberra. These properties range from 1 to 4 bedroom apartment and houses that are suited to single persons, couples and families that are in need of an affordable housing option, but do not need intensive support/s to maintain that tenancy.
