FAQ

What am I eligible for?

The majority of our properties use the same criteria as public housing. See here for an example of current income and residency details

How much does it cost?

Our housing options are income based rents. Traditionally this means 25% of your fortnightly income plus eligible commonwealth rent assistance.

How can I list a vacancy on your site?

We can manage your tenants and your investment property for you. If you would like us to manage your investment property as community housing, please contact us at info@havelock.asn.au, and we will guide you through the process of listing your home with Havelock Housing Association.

How does this work with my NDIS plan?

The primary question that will affect your housing options is whether or not you require 24/7 support and currently have Supported Independent Living (SIL) approved in your plan. Take a look at the Disability Housing Hub for more details.
